Varner Family Christmas...

I'm very lucky to be working with friends who support my love of photography. Early in the fall, Tosha, a fellow newbie in my district, allowed me the chance to photograph her two beautiful babies... Isaac and Elizabeth. Issac even became the front man for my business cards (he's just too cute). They were my first major "kid session" :o)

Once again, Tosha invited me into her home...this time to do a quick Christmas session of her family. Below are a few of their images...

Thanks to Tosha and her family!! :o)

This little man is as cute as they come...

I mean, c'mon....don't you agree?

This past weekend, I ventured to Canton, PA (those of you who have been there understand why I chose "ventured") for a family shoot, complete with this sweet baby. Alicia, Burt, and their beautiful family live in a house surrounded by plenty of gorgeous wilderness. We managed to get outside for a few shots, but it was quite cold and windy that day, so we enjoyed the great indoors for the majority of the shoot. Alicia set a small Christmas scene in their living room for us to use as a backdrop (thanks, Alicia!) for these whole-family shots...

After the family shots, we did some individual shots of the kiddos, indoor and out....

And don't forget their pets! Pets are family, too, right?? :-)

At the end of our shoot, we spent some time focusing on that sweet little guy you met earlier...

I will leave you with my favorite shot of the day...a display of brotherly love :-)

Dana & Matt...

Matt is one of my best friends. We met in our first class on the first day of our first year in college, at Mansfield University. When he told me that he got engaged to Dana, I was super excited (I love her!!)!! I basically bullied Matt into asking me to take pictures for them (they said they really wanted me to do it...ha...I can be quite convincing ;-) ). Anyway, we got to do this session about two weeks ago at a park in Lewisburg. Congratulations Dana and Matt! I love you both and I can't wait to get to photograph your wedding!

An Old Friend...

A few weeks ago, I received an email from an old friend of mine. Amanda and I went to elementary school together....back in the 80s! ;-)  She mentioned that she noticed some of my work on Facebook (awesome!!), and was wondering if I would be interested in photographing her family. We met up at Italian Lake in Harrisburg, and here are the results of our beautiful day...

Cole Andrew

One of my first photography subjects was my sweet nephew, Cole. I spent an entire family camping trip (I'm talking several days) photographing Cole like it was my job. As you can see, he is one cute little guy, and makes taking pictures easy....
