I am lucky to know Natalie Gibbs. She is a good friend, a great teacher, and an amazing photographer. She is also the reason I had the guts to start my own business. Natalie very kindly took me under her wing, and taught me a great deal about photography. At first, I was her assistant, carrying her equipment and holding her reflector. After eventually adopting her camera, she gave me a chance to be the "second shooter" on 2 of her weddings this past fall. Imagine how excited I was (and still am!)!! Below is the start of my editing work on my shots from those weddings. As her second shooter, Natalie asked me to take lots of "detail" shots. These detail shots are from a lovey winery wedding near Charlottesville, VA. I will continue to show more of my work from the weddings over my next several blog posts, so please be sure to check back. And please also take a peek at Natalie's work, following the link above...

What did you do during your delay?
Just the other day, I was lucky enough to have both snow and (because of the snow) a two-hour delay. I have been waiting for this for weeks....time to try my hand at some winter shots! On this particular day, I decided to drive to Lewisburg, PA, to the parks and downtown. Below is the product of my time! Enjoy! :-)
